Hi

Which MP4 export preset are you using?

Are you changing any of the settings in the preset?

What is the resolution of the device you are seeing the loss of quality on?

Can you describe what the loss of quality looks like?

Are you uploading the video to a video sharing site eg Youtube, Vimeo etc and losing the quality there?

Hello John,

I go to EXPORT MOVIE  and then choose VIDEO AS MPEG 4.  So far I am using nothing else like uploading to youtube or whatever.

The file I use is a uncrompressed AVI file of 20 GB after the above acvtion it is reduced to an MP4 file of 15 MB.

It is a film made by a drone and finaly it has to go to the website.

What can I do to keep the quality

Kind regards Harrie

Hi

. . . . MP4 file of 15 MB . . . .

I suspect you are selecting the wrong MP4 preset - that figure is way too small for a MP4 created from a 20GB AVI file.

What resolution is the imported AVI file?

What resolution MP4 do you require for the website?

Which MP4 preset are you selecting?  See image below for the options I have when you check the indicated box

Dear John

Sorry but I can't read the picture of the presets, to misty. I looked the way it is goning with me concerning the presets. It is standard  on  "User defined"  resolution  1920 x 1080   Probably I have to choose for  somtghing else for "User defined ". But which one.  Of course I can try them all, but that takes a while. So a suggestion from you would be very welcome. I don't know what is needed for the Website.

MPEG4 Export:
Video: 1920x1080; 30.00 Frames/s; AVC 7500 kbit/s
Audio: 48000 Hz; Stereo; AAC
Size estimate: 8426 kByte

Kind regads
