how to play 50 fps movie on normal speed

janvoswag wrote on 12/9/2015, 12:30 PM

I got a *.MP4 movie recorded at 50 fps. After importing, editing and producing it in MAGIX I wanted a video that shows movements at  'real life' speed (so no slow motion). I did not succeed, when playing the movie exported from MAGIX  i kept on seeing slow motion.  What can I do to achieve that?

I work with MAGIX movie edt pr0 2014

Hi

Select the clip(s) then on the Effects tab select Video Effects, Speed and adjust the speed to correct the slow motion.

. . . . yes of course i want an answer - why ask otherwise? . . . .

Why the comment?  If there is an issue with another member let a moderator know and provide / leave evidence otherwise comments like that are unnecessary.

For video 50 fps is a standard frame rate and is not classed as slow motion - my camera shoots slow motion at 100 fps +.

Dear John,

forget about my comment (was not meant to be offensve in any way). Your answer to go to 'video effects'ad next 'speeed' helped me. the solution that worked ws slightly differet, though. by trial and error i found out I had to change the slide bar of 'factor'. when i moved it from 1 to 2 i got the result that i wanted : a video , recorded at 50fps, with progress in time as in real life. when moving the silder the fps increased automatically from 50 to 100

No problem - pleased to see the speed effect fixed the problem for you.
