how to mute a video clip separatly from the mute button

does anybody know how to mute a video clip separatly from the mute button at the beginning of a track?

Hey John, thanks for your helpful audio videos :-)

In this case, i would like to mute the whole video clip (just as it can be muted "seeing & hearing", visual & audio) with the mute button at the beginning of the track. So, is there a way to mute the track (the video & the audio) by other means and keeping the mute button at the beginning of the track unmuted? This would help me with editing different possible tracks.

I think in Samplitude this is possible with Ctrl & M.

Hi

To mute a single video clip for video, audio or both, drag down the appropriate handles indicated in the image below:

Note this is a composite image the appropriate handle will appear when you hover over the video or audio parts of the clip.
