Hi

The pru file is, AFAICS, not the settings of a file export format, but a standard preset for the Geomodule ie the Travel Route Animation module of the software.

I could be wrong, however AFAICS there is no option in MEP to export/import the parameters for exporting a video format.

Found it..  If I go through and actually save some "dummy" settings, then I can find out where it attempts to put the file.  Dropped my buddy's file in that folder and poof, it's now available as a preset selection.  yay!

As to where, it will vary system to system.  But you can find it by going File -> Export Movie and then at the top where the drop-down list of presets is found, there is a "SAVE" icon..  Click that, which opens up a dialog giving you an option to describe your preset (manufacturer, model, etc), or export the preset to a .PRU file.  Click export, and it will open up a dialog showing where it wants to put it..

thanks all,
..dane
