I just downloaded 3 OGG files from Catooh that contain several OGG files. How do I install them? Thanks for help that anyone who can resolve this issue for me.
OGG files are simply audio files, like wav or mp3. They do not need to be installed. Just copy them to a location on your hard disk that you won't forget, preferably with sound pools and anything else that you buy from Magix and Catooh. Normally by default, soundpools and synths and maybe some other objects are placed in the following folders:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common
and it includes normally folders for Soundpools and MxSynth.
I created additional folders for other music obtained, such as a subfolder for ...Magix music, ....Catooh music, and Sound Fx where I place additional music and sound files. Then in MMM or Samplitude Music Studio or Movie Edit Pro, I can navigate to the folders and drag in the sound file onto the arranger.
Also under the above folder, I have every Soundpool that I have obtained, by name, such as "...\Basics_20."
I suggest that you do the same.
Take a look at this video that I did that may help answer some other questions that you may have.
