How to install the independence 12gb library?

I am having trouble installing my samplitude music studio independence library. I inserted both independence library cds and my computer downloaded the content. A window then appeared saying to restart independence. I assumed this meant just reopen music studio. However, all of the soundpools and new instruments I was expecting have not appeared. How can I add them. They are saved on my computer due to the download, but they are not appearing in the soundpool list, and "add styles" doesn't seem to do anything.

Once you have done it's very easy :)

After you copied the DVD's content on your harddrive start the software MAGIX.

In the bottom area you will fine e tab named "VST", clic on it.

Now you choose the entry "Empty" end select the VST instrument called "MAGIX:Independence".

In the popup windows that follows you will have to clic on "NO"

Now you clic on the menu "Preferences"/"Libraries"/"Add Library" and insert the path that lead to the directory that contains the content of the DVD.

The rest of the installatio process ist automatic.

I'm using an italian version og MAGIX Samplitude so the entries "Empty" and "No" i used before might been slightly different caused to the translation.

Cannot find the tab vst at the bottom of the screen. Is it an icon? If so what does it look like?

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Did you notice you had posted to a thread which is nearly 6 years old? Please do not do this! Instead, start a new thread with your question. There have been several versions of Samplitude released since this thread was started and in the latest the answer to your question may well be quite different.
