How to install ProDaD Mercalli 2.1 with Magix Video deLuxe MX

Recently bought the full version of ProDaD Mercall 2.1i for my earlier installed Video De Luxe MX.

Mercalli function OK as stand alone application, but does not appear in the effects menu of the Magix editing program.

I have search for answers  in thr ProDad manual, the Video deLuxe manual and the web sites of Magix and ProDad. - but unfortunately with no luck.

Who can/will help?

Will Magix remain silent again about this problem?

Hope to find help from this forum.

Well, I think I found the answer be reading the FAQ-section on  http://www.prodad.com/_dbe,faqs,_auto_4612179,l-us.xhtml

The reason is that Magix Video Edit Pro (all versions)  is not a 64-bit program, but actually they all are 32-bit programs adapted to run on 64-bit oprating system too.

The PC i is running win7 64-bit, and editor is the new MX-version.
Consequently when ordering the licensed full version og Mercalli 2.1, we thought we should order the 64-bit version, since we were not aware of the Magix-limitation (not true 64-bit programming).

So the cure must be to change the Mercalli to the 32-bit version.

I think other's might have met this limitation in the Magix-software.
