How to install Prodad and Red Gaint magic bullet quick looks

Falcon52 wrote on 1/18/2013, 11:26 AM

I have owned MAGIX movie edit pro premuim for a year now and have never been able to install proDAD  and  Red Gaint Magic Bullet quick looks. I have no idea what the problem is! And MAGIX's costomer support wants me to pay them 13 bucks to hear back from them!  I have downloaded and installed them multiple times, but it won't let me register them, when I try it redirects me to registering Movie edit Pro premium, and when I do so, it says that the code has already been used!

Hi

Check that the serial number you have in MEP matches the serial number that is quoted on your account on the Magix website.

They should be the same.

Have you reinstalled this version more than 3 times? If so you need the activation resetting.

In any case contact sales at Magix and ask them to verify your serial number and/or reset the activation count.

I remember something similar happening with a ProDAD product, (?VitaScene?) originally supplied as a "freebie" with, I think VPX 2 or 3.

Because I failed to "register" it within a certain amount of time from first installation (I think it was 30 days) I eventually had to buy the full version in order to use it!  I was not pleased, even though the fault was clearly mine!

I wonder whether your difficulty is caused by the same "requirement" in the program, especially since you say you installed MEP (which version BTW, you say "premium" so presumably MX?) some time ago.
