Hi,

According to my experience in Music Maker we can record live, we can hear but we could not add effects on live recording.

First track must be recorded then it is possible to add effects or edit as desired.

Music Maker is not a DAW.

For listening, it depends how you are recording, do you use Mixer, USB audio interface? if so then you can connect headphone.  Oterwise if direct mic to pc then you can hear using Headphone.

You should do setting in Music Maker for mic, usb or else check pdf tutorial.

For Latency problem etc check TUTORIAL section.

Here is a screen shot from Magix Music Maker 16 Premium. When Music Maker is open click on computer keyboard the "R" Key and it will be opened then do settings as you want

Thank you

Thank you Nihon94 - have resolved the issue.

I am using the microphone jack on my laptop.

Go to File - Import Audio.

On the 'Audio Recording' box click Volume Mix.

'Sound' box will come up - click Microphone from the main window (This is default for me)

'Microphone Properties' comes up - click Listen tab and then 'listen to this devive' box.

And done.  The only drag is the you have to go back in to shut it off after you're done.......

Cheers
