I recently purchased and downloaded Magix Movie Studio thinking it was Vegas, which I have been using for years on previous computers. Is there a way for me to receive a refund for Movie Studio and purchase Vegas instead?
Email infoservice@magix.net with full details of your purchase and request a refund, assuming you bought MMS very recently.

Hi,
Just so you know, there is no more Vegas Movie Studio being offered. They stopped at version 17 and Magix picked up the ball by modifying Movie Edit Pro to be able to read Vegas MS files (events only without effects) and then renamed Movie Edit Pro to be Movie Studio.
If you want stick with Vegas, then the upgrade is to Vegas Pro. If you want a better consumer-oriented program, then stick with Magix Movie Studio (so long as it's Platinum or Suite and not basc) as it has far more to offer than Vegas MS ever had.
