deambrosi,

The Window menu is for easy navigation between movies. If by 'close a window' you mean to delete a movie use 'File' >> 'Manage movies' >> 'Remove from project'.

Note also the little film reel icon towards the left above the timelines. It is an alternative to navigation and also allows renaming.

Regards,

Carl

Hi

Not a lot of information to go on however I assume you mean the list that appears as highlighted in this image

You can use File, Manage movies, Remove from project to delete the extra movies.

The questions I have are -

Are you creating multiple movie projects ?

or

Adding another project and copy and pasting between the two or more movies?

or

Are you trying to start a new project using Ctrl + Alt + N ?  This is the wrong keyboard shortcut, and adds a new movie and empty timeline to the current open project.

John

Thank you. Both of you gave me the answer that I needed. I don't know whether MEP is just not intuitive or whether I'm just familiar with a different "culture" of expectations concerning where features should be.
