After updated Edit Pro 2021 Plus a few days ago my analog videos is now recorded in 16:9. Always before it used to be 4:3. How to reset 16:9 to 4:3 when recording? I am using "Magix easy video rescue your videotapes". Shouldn't the recordings switch automaticly to 4:3 when recording 4:3?

Can you clarify which program you are using to capture your video tapes.

Updates to Movie Edit Pro 2021 have no effect on Rescue your Video Tapes - they are 2 very different programs.

@johnebaker

Hi

Sri, what I meant was i am using the video converter dongle from the "Magix easy video rescue your videotapes" to grab the video from my old Video8/VideoHi8.

However, I found the solution in another answer to the same issue. "Right click on the file in the timeline. Choose Properties and Video". There I could choose 4:3. Problem solved. Thank you. 🙂🙂
