HI Rob

Having tried the software @AAProds mentioned, I prefer DVD Architect 7, it can do BluRay as well despite its name, which Magix bought from Sony along with the Vegas programs.

IMHO the current offerings of DVD/BD authoring software available are not a patch on the capabilities of DVD Architect, sadly it is no longer available due to reducing interest in creating DVD.

Hi John,

Thanks👍 for your addition. I think that just like burning in MEP2019 and MMS2025 everything is still re-encoded? But I have not yet found a program where you can attach a menu structure without having to re-encode. If you know of one, please let me know.

Best wishes,
Rob

Als een kwestie onoplosbaar lijkt, komt dat niet omdat je de oplossing niet ziet, maar omdat je het probleem niet ziet.

If an issue seems unsolvable, it is not because you do not see the solution, but because you do not see the problem.

Hi Rob

The majority of programs that can create discs, DVD or BD, will always re-encode non-compliant video.

For DVDA, which I use for more fully featured BD discs, eg playing a chapter correctly, ie the selected chapter only plays, then returns to the calling menu.

VPX and MMS cannot do this, the chapter plays and continues to the end of the movie.
