how to burn a DVD disk by MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 12

Cannot burn a DVD disk after created a project with “MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 12”. I waited 1.5 hour  for the processing to run through, only to receive a message that reads “Burning was aborted with the following error – Internal error while processing“.   Then I tried to burn a DVD disk with the saved project file under the folder ‘Disk Temp/DVD Image’ file by MAGIX GOYA burnR, waited for 1.5 hour for the process to see a message reads - “burning was successful”.  I was very happy to see that message – BUT to my dismay, there is nothing on the disk when I play it.  The disk is empty, nothing was burnt on it.

I found MAGIX is very irresponsible for not allowing Technical Support if you don’t purchase the Support.  I feel that Technical Support should be free as long as we purchased the Software.

Can anyone out there help me to burn a DVD disk by “MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 12”.

If you have any helpful suggestions, please answer to my email address in English.

THANKS – Grace Jones

Hi

Unfortunately the version you are using is very old.  MEP is now at version 18 (MX) and you cannot expect support for software which is no longer available and so far back in version - no software manufacturer will do this.

Most of us have later versions of MEP so the chances of someone still being up to date with MEP 12 is low.

What brand discs are you using?

What are you trying to play the discs on?

What is your computer spec, OS and DVD burner make/model?

John
