How to add side by side half frame text/titles into 3D project ?

Hi, I've been trying to add text and titles into a 3D project from imported side by side half frame files (aiptek i2) but with no success. The text/titles always end up in the center of the video instead of being placed on each of the half frames. Consequently the text is split into two when rendered and played back. What am I doing wrong ? any help please, thanks.

Hi.

I have never tried this as I don't need/use 3D (at the moment) but I wonder if the following would work:

From what you've written I assume you want one title/text to appear in one half-frame and a different title/text in the other?  If so, I suspect the only way you will be able to do this is to create TWO title/text objects and use "Size/Position" to place them into the correct position so that one appears "on the left" and one "on the right", as it were.  (The process of creating TWO simultaneously-appearing title objects is not wholly obvious: you will need to create one in one track and then copy that "object" to a second track, I would suggest BEFORE you start to "edit/write" the actual title/text so that you don't end up with two identical titles, one of which has then to be changed).

HTH.

Jeff

I've found a very easy solution to the problem.....................I'm now using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11 instead. After watching a couple of their 'webinar' tuition videos all is sorted. Recommended,  far superior to Magix efforts.
