I am new to this. I want to know how long a movie can be. I want to make mine longer than 5 minutes. Is that possible? Mine is up to 5 minutes and does not let me go past that. How can i change it?

You haven't said which Magix program you are using, but I'm quite sure all of them can do projects that are very much longer than five minutes. A more common question here is how to I trim a two and a half hour project to fit on one DVD!
Not sure what you mean by '...does not let me go past that.' -- have you used the zoom controls (at the bottom right of the screen) to display more of the timelines? I just zoomed out to the point where I got the message 'The movie cannot get bigger' at just over 4hr 33min.
