How Does the "Tell a Friend" feature work? Doesnt work in Preview

I want to add the "Tell a Friend" feature to my website, but can't seem to test if it's working, in "Preview" mode. How does this feature work, and is there something else I need to do to make it work, before publishing the site?

Generally, this should work in the "Preview" mode. However, I am using the German version of the Website Maker and used to have the same problem. Unfortunately, the "recommend"-feature did not work in the German version. I had informed Magix about the problem (through the "feedback"-button) and it was fixed very quickly. May be there is the same problem in the English version and you should report it to Magix. I can not see what else could be the reason that it does not work. There is no need to do anything else before publishing your website - just safe it before publishing.
