I'm asking as there are some recordings I'd like to edit that don't come in the standard framerates Magix uses like 24 FPS. A video I recorded came in at 22.30 FPS.
. . . . A video I recorded came in at 22.30 FPS. . . .
What do you want the final output, ie format and framerate, from editting this video to be?
If you require a standard format and framerate then set the project to the correct framerate - MEP will convert the video to a the standard framerate you use when you export.
Otherwise change the settings as indicated below - starting from a New Project :
the Movie settings dialog will open after clicking OK - change the framerate setting shown below
However if you do this and then export using a standard setting you will get an error message
In either case if you want a standard framerate output there may be some juddering in the final export - this will be most noticeable on panning shots or where there is movement across the screen.

Yeah I tried that. I also tried changing the FPS field in the Export UI to 22.3 and 22.299 but in both cases Magix rejected them. I will have to see if people will respond to me in the Nvidia forums. Thanks!

MEP will export 'odd' framerates below is an example of the warning message when a 25 fps project is exported at 22.3 fps, clicking Continue completes the export
and the corresponding MediaInfo analysis showing the video is 22.3 fps
It could be that either the NVidia card encoder or, if MEP is using one of the K-Lite codecs, the codec is rejecting the odd framerate.
I am using the Main Concept codec with the Intel Integrated graphics chipset (HD4600) - I have no seperate graphics card.

I solved this already. I tweaked the Shadowplay settings and now everything is in 30 FPS again. Thanks!
