Back-up copy?  I think you're confused.  I know I am.

Do you mean you purchased the MM-16 program DVD after you purchased the download?

Or, are you referring to the Soundpool 16 DVD?

BTW...this is a USER's forum.  We have NO control over what MAGIX does.  If you have an issue with something you've purchased, you need to contact them (MAGIX).

I think he means
CD backup MAGIX Music Maker 16 Premium Download Version
which is on there site for $14.99

which is absoluty Disgusting (no offence MMM) but after paying $89.99 for the software which is Downloaded you want to charge an extra $14.99 for a cd??

http://www.magix.info/us/member/profile/AngeleoSEVEN/ i would say first do you have you Serial for the software?? if so download it again and burn your own copy, the only thing they will do is add copys of the downloadable soundpools and mabye some other trial softwares..

sorry its taken you awhile to gain your cd btw. but they are in France or something, NOT USA based. MAGIX im hearing similar complaints and if you need a representative in the USA. im happy to chat with you and mabye start something here to help.

Sorry, but since I didn't buy the download version, I wouldn't know anything about a "back-up CD".

It's obvious the download versions of the program(s) have their own issues.  Personally, I don't understand why people just don't purchase the boxed, DVD version and avoid all of these problems.  I agree it's unfortunate that you need to pay for a back-up CD, but that's a choice you make.

I've looked at the online, shared sessions recently, and they actually charge an additional $35 to be able to manipulate someone else's screen.  They provide substandard support, and then charge us again just to be able to help each other!

MAGIX is based in Germany, but they do have satellite location in the USA.
