How do you cut a home video that is on the timeline

I did buy some support from Magix but no one is answering and I too am frustrated. Is there a good video I could watch that would help me do this

Go to 'Help' (top menu) >> 'Help' ([F1] shortcut) and do a search for 'cut' -- 65 results!

Answers #1 and #3 are exactly what you need to read ; The second one is the object trimmer which is great for those with more experience.

There is also PDF manual distributed with your product if you care to print out a page to have next to you as you work
