Hello,

So, you're trying to create a DVD from WMV source material, but what exactly seems to be the problem? Unfortunately, that's not clear from your original post. Do you not know how to use the program or are you experiencing a problem of technical nature?

You might want to have a look at the knowledge & workshop section of this site and check for some entry-level tutorials for your program. (Look for "Movies on DVD" - different product name, same program/concept.)

In a nutshell, the steps are pretty easy:

- Bring the WMV file into the program, e.g. by importing it from the mediapool.
- Edit and enhance as needed.
- Switch to the DVD authoring section ("Burn"), pick your DVD menu and authoring options and initate the encoding and burning process.

If you need additional help, you might want to clarify exactly during what step you're experiencing problems.

Hi again,

Sounds like you're doing everything correctly and I take it that the burning process is terminating without any error messages. Does the DVD player give you any specific error message when trying and failing to read the disc? Otherwise this might just be a pure readability issue. There are a few things you can try here: When you're burning, make sure to do so at a slow writing speed. Try to avoid anything faster than 4 times speed. Experiment with different makes and types of DVD blanks. Avoid DVD-RW blanks, which are generally considered to be less stable.

I hope this helps.
