How do you bring three audio files into one project for editing?

I have three separately recorded audio files, saved within Audio & Music Lab Premium (22-2-0-53) and what I am trying to do is to bring all three of these files together into one new project file. The intention is that after editing I will then have one audio file that has some background music, with voiceovers in two places. This will then be able to be exported as one MP3 file.

This is something I have done before ages ago, albeit with Audio Cleaning Lab but cannot currently see how to action this in Audio & Music Lab Premium to get the three files together in order to start.

Go to File>Load Project and one audio file opens. Position the cursor away from this audio track and carry out the same function to open another track. Yes, the second track opens but the first one has closed so am no further forward. Even tried the ‘Import’ button, but unlike when you import a CD, it seems one cannot tick on tracks one wishes to open and exactly the same happens as with File>Load Project. A file opens and the previous closes. Can’t see anywhere else to go. Any ideas please?

Okay, it is not the solution I had been looking for but it seems I may have found a work around. I have just exported each of the three tracks as a MP3. Then in a completely new project I have been able to go to File>Load Audio File for each of the saved MP3 files and this has then loaded all the three tracks into the programme and on a quick test, I have then been able to edit as originally hoped.

Hi George,

AML is not like MEP where you can open more than one project into one open project. What you did is correct. You have to export and then import these into one project. You can, of course, have one already open with an audio object in the arranger, and then import the other two. But if you have already used some effects on the overall project, all objects will get them.
