how do I use the collages effect?

I have Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 and I've been trying to figure out the collages feature. I am using both video and photos for my project. I've searched the net and have not been able to find a tutorial. can anyone tell me how to use the collages feature using both photos and video together?

could you explain what exact you would like to do? I guess it is maybe more simple as you think.

You can use any photo as you use videos. Just drag and drop into the timeline at the position you want to have it. You can change the time the photo is displayed by changing the length in the timeline (drag the end slider).
You can also use it in picture in picture effects and mix in one screen for example two photos and two videos (split into four parts).

The program does not differ between media.....

I still think I do not get it. I do not understand "every time I drag and drop it pulls several pictures that I don't want with it to make a collage"You can delete every picture you do not want to use from the timeline or storyboard.

Tutorials: There is a new book for MEP out (on the Magix site, will be released this week). It is of course focussed on video editing, but it has all basics that are important. A tutorial DVD is announced for mid of May. I know this becasue I work as beta tester.

Also Magix plans to give some live tutorials at the east coast in June...
