How do I upload OGG files into the sound pool??? (music maker 17)

I own Magix music maker 17 for my buisness and I am putting together tracks, but I ran out of ideas with the tracks that I had on hand (magix 17 12 and 14) and so I went and bought some MP3 sound tracks and converted them over to ogg files (just like the ones in my magix sound pool) and I went through the same procedure with these tracks as I did with the CDs but it didnt work.  Im not to sure how to make this work, I have been using the "add styles" button but its just working.

Please I really need help with this, I dont want to see that sound pool go to waste.

Sorry to say you're wasting your time and energy.  Converting the MP3's to .ogg files was pointless and un-necessary.

You simply need to access the MP3 files using the File Manager.  It's every bit as easy and effective as using a soundpool.

The actual soundpool files are obviously tagged with unseen information that allows MMM to recognize them as soundpool material.  Other files, even though they are the same format, are not tagged this way.  But, as I said, there's absolutely no reason why they need to be.

However, to make them as useful as a soundpool file, you may need to run them through the Beat Finder to assign a tempo to the file (assuming they have a beat).
