How do I transfer my songs from MMM 14 to MMM 16?

I've got all my songs that I've recorded over the past year on MMM 14 and I've not got MMM 16 installed and I saved the "My Audio" and " My Record" folders from MMM 14 and added them to MMM 16. But when I try to load a song it comes up with a different directory associated with the song files. I click on "Directory" to find the new directory of the files, but still it does not load. Plus if I had to do this for EVERY song, I'd be doing it forever...how do I get round this??

Did you ever try just to open the *.mmm file with Music Maker 16 instead of 14? Should work....

Yes I did that. But it brings up the associated files (*.hdp files) but shows that they are in a different directory to what program was expecting. The directory its showing is from when I created the files which was when I had Basic Edition. It does give option to select directory where the file actually is now. But even that is not working.

You should read the intro of the MM-16 user's manual to make sure it is compatable with earlier versions first.

I've looked at the manual. Doesn't state either way. So not much info there. I've managed to load individual files from "My Recordings" which are .WAV files. So could reconstruct from these but that's time consuming and some times the tempo is not recorded with the track. It seems that the problem lies with the directory where the files were initial stored. But can seem to change it for the files when asked. Any further suggestions??

Hi,I have the same problem. I had MM15 Premium, uninstalled it, and installed Mm16 Premium, but the MM16 does not recognize the music file made with MM15. The technicians from Magix send me e-mail with suggestions that did not solve the problem. I cannot believe that they are not compatible. Please write me if you find a solution.
