What you are trying to do is make a orange from orange juice.

You cannot successfully strip out the vocals from a song, since all sound frequencies are inner mixed, removing one frequency will remove all the sound with in it.

You can subdue the center channel, which is where most vocals are recorded, but again, that is not 100% as not all recording engineers use the same method of recording vocals. Also, subduing the center will subdue all the sound within center, not just vocals.

You can use the Karaoke feature at the bottom of the object's Audio Effects Rack.

This will remove the vocals, more or less, depending on the frequencies involved.  It seems to work better on higher voices than deeper voices.  Regardless, the process is not perfect and you may be left with some unwanted artifacts.  It will also drastically alter the frequency balance of the music that remains, so keep that in mind.

That is asssuming the feature works at all.  I have MM-10 and MM-15.  The karaoke feature works fine in MM-10, but not at all in MM-15.  It's clear that others with MM-15 have had the same problem.
