How do I stop the VST auto scan when I start Sound Forge Pro 14

When I start Sound Forge Pro 14 the program stalls on the VST auto scan, I have never been able to get the program open because of this. Can someone tell me the solution to this problem I am new to this program, thanks.

Takes some detective work. Move the VST <.dll> files to a temporary folder in move a few back in at a time, until auto scan hangs, then narrow it down to the offender, I have occasionally had to do this with older versions of SF. I did it alphabetically.
