How do I record voice only and burn cd on Music studio 14?

I bought ms14 at frys and find it to be more than I understand. I just want to record from a mic and burn cd's or add the recording to my ipod. Does anyone out there had the time to instruct me?

Try the help system, the built-in tutorial videos, and there are also some really good Samplitude tutorial videos here:

Music Studio is basically a "lite" version of Samplitude, so these videos should still be helpful.
