Ok so i have battled with a few recording programs and i have never had this problem with any of them, but i was told to try magix as it comes with a load of effects and editing software, well ive installed it and have installed my interface driver, which by the way i am using the scarlett 2i2 focusrite. Now my problem is, although obviously i am plugging both my mic and my guitar into the two inputs on my scarlett, i can only record one track at a time, i cannot seem to find the options to record the left channel on say track 1 and the right channel on track 2??? i am so baffeled, i do not want to record the two seperatly otherwise it would be completely pointless having an interface at all. Like i have mentioned i have used many other softwares including, cubase, cool edit pro, pro tools, logic etc and never once have i had this problem, i have also check that i am recording in mono and that the focusrite drivers are selected for audio input as asio, how can i resolve this issue? any help will be much appriciated thank you
Also i am using magix music maker 2014 premium in a windows 7 pc.
