How do I place a video to one side of the image frame

Hello again! I'm a newbie (just thought I'd get that out of the way). I'm using a still image at the start of a video and it is placed in the centre of the image frame which leaves two borders at each edge.. What I would like to do is to offset it to the left hand side so I can scroll titles up on the right hand. Is this possible?

Thank you in advance!

Ed

@eeetee

Hi,

I presume that you are using Movie Edit Pro and not a Vegas product, correct?

If so, which version (basic, Plus, or Premium)?

Select the image on the timeline. Go to Effects tab in the Media Pool, View/Animation, Size/Position. You can drag the image around on the screen to place it where you want or use the tools in the Position/Size UI. Lots to learn.

In your case. simply set the Left position to 0.

Start reading the manual and look at the tutorials, especially mine under Tutorials in this forum, and Magix' tutorials at Magix.com.

Thank you very much John! I'll ensure to be more specific as this forum hosts more that one product... gettingup to speed. I'll check out the tutorials section.

Thanks again!
