How do I open the menu project to edit a template's background music?

I would like to change the background music for the "warm pan (colored)" template in the Burning section of Movie Edit Pro MX, but I receive the following error message when I click on "Sound/Music":

  • Unique menus or menu templates that use a background project as the background, cannot be assigned any addition audio files.
  • Please open the menu project to edit the background music (via editing view). You can add your own music to the menu there.

How do I find, open and edit the so-called "menu project"? Thanks in advance.

Hi

In the Burn page click the Edit button top left to enter the edit mode for the menu.  Then click this button

to edit the menu itself.

It will appear as though you have another project and timeline, you can replace the music here, however make sure the new music is the same length or shorter then the overall menu length.  Click the close (X) button to return to the Burn page applying the changes.
