Hi

. . . . This has happened since I installed Windows 10 . . . .

This is one of the possible issues with the Windows 10 upgrade from 7 or 8.

You need to re-install the program following this procedure.

. . . . How am I expected to define my self as having Administrator rights? . . . .

You would have been a full administrator under Windows 7 or 8, however you are getting the message because the Windows 10 upgrade has a 'super administrator' account and changed your administrator to one with lower permissions then you previously had.  The 'super administrator account is hidden and should remain so unless you are experiencing severe issues with the PC.

If you do need to run a program with administrator priviliges then this is possible however should not be necessary if you re-install using the procedure linked to.
