How do I install an SSL certificate in my webpages,

David-Cowan wrote on 4/14/2022, 11:59 AM

I have three web pages, but I have various upload problems - "error 404 not found" in one and "this page isn't working in another, I also need an SSL certificate. Webpages are "leylinesexplained.com" and ".net" and ".org".

Windows 8.1 in HP Pavilion desktop

Xara Web Designer Premium.

Thanks in advance.

@David-Cowan

You would normally purchase an SSL certificate from your web site host, who is, usually, also responsible for placing it in your site.

Thanks, Jeff, but my web host is Xara/Magix, who I believe do not have this facility. Is there a Website developer connected to them who can help?

@David-Cowan

Hi David,

That is correct, Xara/Magix do not have this capability. You have to have a different hosting company that has the capability.

I suggest that you raise a ticket with Magix and complain. For the price they charge, it should be included. And while you're at it, tell them that they should add in database capability.
