The resolution is too low to see what you are doing.

Page 17 of the manual shows the formats that MMM2015 can read. For video, they are avi, mxv (Magix format ) and wmv. If you are trying to import any other format, it won't work. You will have to convert it to a format that works. I suggest wmv unless you have a Magix video editor.

It keeps saying device not accessible or something like that. I can't even get past that message to import the correct type of video

When posting images please crop them so we can see the significant information easily.

Your issue is that you have no recording device available for the software to record with - see image below

 

In this case the device is an external USB video converter..

What are you trying to record video from?

Are you intending to edit the video in MMM - if so then you are going to have limited editting functions available.

Now that I can see what you are trying to do, if you already have the file in one of the accepted formats, then use the file browser in the Media pool, navigate to your file, and drag it on to a track. You have been using the wrong tool.
