How do I get the vocals to come through my headphone when recording. I have Samplitude Music Studio 14. And the sound card I have is Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer. I've tried going in to the Play Parameters And putting the driver system on ASIO. But it doesn't receive input the way it does when its on MME or WDM. MME and WDM. Receives input, you can see the monitor moving when sound is being detected. But It just doesn't come through in the headphones. When I record, though my vocals are not coming through the headphones, they are recording. The only thang that comes through the headphones are tracks thats already recorded or imported. I have my recording options checked by playback while recording. But all that does is allow me to see the waves as it is being recorded. I have a USB microphone. Samson COU3. It is a USB microphone. I'm operating off a dell computer; operating sytem Windows Vista. I've been trying many things to get it to come through, including going to the lil speaker and settin the recording option to record what you hear. But for some reason it's still not working. Please help out if You can. Thanks

I may not be using the same computer but I might have an answer. Open up your audio/volume control options (should be on the taskbar). Open the advanced options and make sure microphone options are a part of it. Open the microphone options and make sure it is not muted by unchecking the box. That should take care of the problem.
