Does your computer got CD-Rom or DVD-Rom? can it handle both. Older computer can not run DVD's therefore please confirm that. I think Magix Music Maker 2014 should be on DVD.

Also, if your computer can run both CD/DVD in that case try to clean your Magix DVD gently do not damage it then from air blower clean CD or DVD Rom. After doing all that restart computer.

Do not touch inside CD/DVD-Rom with fingers.

If nothing work, insert the disk in to the CD/DVD-Rom open My computer can you see ICON of CD or DVD? If so, right click and click on OPEN. You can see the contents of the CD/DVD locate installation file or file ending with .exe probably. Double click on it may be it work.

If using Windows (I assume you are), you need to go to the Autoplay settings in the Control Panel.  For a software disc, set it to ask you what you want to do when a disc is inserted.

Otherwise, as nihon94 suggests, you would "look at" the disc in the DVD drive and click on the "autorun" or "setup" .exe file to start the install.
