Hi,

In VITA, have you tried by example Bass->Crushed resofunker?

Open VITA instrument editor and turn right the "Glide" knob in order to increase the duration. You can create a new instrument, but it is tricky.

If you are asking about audio samples, such as soundpool objects, they cannot be altered or "extended".  You would need to create your own in the Vita MIDI Editor.

You didn't say what KIND of sustained bass sound you're looking for. In Vita, you could use any of the classic polyphonic or bass synths to create them. Don't forget....you can use the Instrument Editor (Revolta 2) to modify any of the instruments in Vita. You are NOT limited to the preset sounds.  You can alter the length of a preset sound by adjusting the sustain and release settings in the ADSR (attack/decay/sustain/release) envelope generator in Revolta 2.

You are not limited to the virtual instruments in Vita.  You can also load a vast array of VSTi instruments.  You can find just about anything you'd want here...

You can also download various organ and string emulations.  They can provide a variety of sustained bass sounds.  They can be presets or the harmonic balance can be customized and vibrato added if desired.

Two I have used and can recommend are Stringer and GTG Micro Organ Mk-III, but of course there are many others you can try.  You should also consider emulations of some of the vintage monophonic analog synthesizers.
