I was changing the "Display Templates" after pressing "Y" on the keyboard, I chose "TV as monitor preview" and when realized this was not what I wanted, I reverted back to "Standard". At that time I noticed that it lost the 3D Icon (Anaglyph glasses icon) in the top left of the preview monitor. I also noticed that it actually had not reverted to "Standard", but was now on "User Defined" setting under the "Display Templates".
Needless to say I was puzzled... but alas, there seems to always be a way out.
What I did was use the restore defaults option in Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus. In the program, under the "File" drop down menu, choose "Settings" and in there the last item listed is "Reset program settings to default".
This gave me back the 3D icon, hopefully it will do the same for you.
That's brilliant John! That is exactly what happened, I used a second monitor and after finishing, went back to standard and found that User Defined was selected just like you.
I followed your suggestion and reset to default, and now everything is fine.
Many thanks,
Roger
