Most formats I try aren't readable (usb plugged into LG DVD player, feeding viewsonic). Many combinations end up in some error or another in external codec.

I can't think of any regular visitors to the forums that have any dealings with 3D video.
We do get the occasional visitor asking questions about using and exporting 3D files for YouTube but they are often not around much for months at a time so it may be a while before you get any replies. If you get any replies as this post will sink down the running order as more questions come onto the forum and those people are the ones asking questions more than answering problems.
Perhaps an email to the manufacturers of the projector or a visit to their website may yield more rewarding results.
You could even try the Fuji forums. Not that they are what they once were. Your camera was manufactured in 2009 if I remember correctly. Some people there may still be using them and had similar problems.

I think you need to determine which video formats and stereo representation method, eg side by side half/full width etc, the 3D projector supports, from what I can find Viewsonic do not have the information in the different projector models specifications.
Exporting as MP4, 1920 x 1080p Side by Side halfwidth is the most common format.
