How do I cut out a scene form a movie?

I have read the manual and tried everything I can find, but nothing works. I need a tutorial or an example. Can you help?

To remove a section you make 2 cuts , one at the start and one at the end of the section you want to remove.

This is a combination of the Cut an Object and Delete an object sections in the manual, by making the 2 cuts you have created an object that can be deleted.

If the gap does not close up automatically, then you will need to manually drag the object after the gap to the left.
