thefivestring,

In Movie Edit Pro the backup functions are under the main 'File' menu:

As various Magix programs tend to follow the same structure I'd check there, or go to 'Help' and search for 'backup'.

Regards,

Carl

Thanks cpc000cpc for the answer but in ACL the only option I can find so far is to backup to a CD or DVD.Right now I have a smattering of various files ( .HO, .HMP, _FX.HO, _FX.HDP, _FX.wav) on my desktop and I don't know how I got them there.

Hi

. . . . I have a smattering of various files ( .HO, .HMP, _FX.HO, _FX.HDP, _FX.wav) on my desktop and I don't know how I got them there. . . . .

When you start a new project and are asked what you want to do, one of the options is where the files are to be located - the filepath settings, in this case, have been changed to the desktop.

Create a new folder(s) in your My Documents (Documents) for your projects and point ACL to this folder when you start anew project.
