How Can I Turn Off Ads Forever?!

Each day that I start Sound Forge Pro 12, I see ads from Magix who wants me to spend money on products that I have no interest in. I always click the check box that states "Do not show this message again," but these ads continue the next day. Do I have anyway of turning these off permanently?

Options> Preferences> General, uncheck the box "Use Newsfeed to stay informed about MAGIX product updates" (towards the top of the list).

If "MAGIX Connect" got installed along with SF, (an easy to miss option) you can uninstall it.
