Under Recording Settings, the sample rate for Wave appears to be defaulted to 44100 Hz. I'd like to set the default to another value so that I don't have to change it to my preferred rate every time I create a recording. I haven't been able to find anywhere in the system to manage that setting, nor does it appear to be in a configuration file.

Is this possible?
