how can i read mxf files with magix?

I have magix movie edit pro 14 plus and i want to open mxf files but it says that the program cannot read that file extension. is there any update or any magix program that can read that extension and convert it to another extension?

Definitely not a supported file format in Movie Edit Pro 14.

Are you looking for Sony XD Cam support? Don't have any practical experience with this myself, but XD Cam is supported in the newest Magix products, especially Video Pro X:
