John Baker is the guru, and Filezilla is used by many, many web designers. For more in depth information, look at the Xara Web Design chat forum. Do a search for Filezilla.
. . . . is there any way I can see the html code for the pages I made in xara . . . .
Using File, Export website you can save the current website document into a folder of your choice. From their you can check the html and appearance and functionality of the page(s) by loading it (them) into a web browser.
Tip:-
I always check my websites in the following browsers to ensure they are OK
Internet Explorer
Firefox
Google Chrome
Safari - on a MAC (used to be available for Windows but has been dropped)
These cover the majority of web browsers, there are many others, most of them are W3C compliant and behave as they should.
Note: anything Flash based will not display correctly on iPhone and iPads unless an alternative browser which supports Flash has been installed on them - you have no control over this.
