Hi

Has anything changed on the computer eg Windows update or upgrade, new software installed etc?

Did you try retarting the computer and loading a mp3 after the problem arose?

have you tried resetting MMM's settings back to default - File, Settings, Reset . . . .

Which version of Music Maker are you using and what is your Windows version?

. . . . i have tryed uninstalling and renstalling but it makes no diffrence . . . .

It wont unless you used the Magix Cleanup tool in between uninstalling and re-installing, however I do not think this is the issue.

1st, check with easytag or www.mp3tag.de if those files are including pictures in the id3tag. If so, delete the pictures in the id3tag and try the import again.

2nd, maybe the codecs are damaged. In this case, try rebuilding the codecs using the sfc / scannow option within the command line of Windows, like explained here.
