How can I make it where the timeline in Magix video pro x4 layers tracks properly? In every other editor, the video track on top is the dominant one. It's completely backwards. The Tracks on the bottom cover up the tracks on top. In Desiger pro 7 the layer on top is the layer shown.  They got it right there, why can't I do it in Video Pro?

qthieber,

Altogether doubt you can, short of rewriting and recompiling the program! :-(

The Magix scheme seems quite intuitive eg I typically have my main video on track 1and audio on track 2. If I want to add a title I simply place it on any lower (higher number) track and it appears in front of my video. In a dominant top scheme I'd have to shift all existing tracks down a level to add any new foreground images.

I suspect in Designer Pro you are adding new layers to the top of the stack rather than placing objects on pre-existing tracks.
