How can I increase the volume of the midi track (with keyboard supplied with MM17XLL) ?

Hi, I am a new user and have just connected up the MM17XLL keyboard. However the sound from this track (both recording & playback) is very quiet compared to other tracks set at normal. Even with the track volume at Maximum. Is there a way to increase the volume of THIS TRACK (beyond the track control and the general sound control that increases all tracks).

Thank You.

This is apparently an issue regardless of the version of the software or how the MIDI track is created.

It's not clear what you mean by, "general sound control".

However, if the volume is still too low after making all of those adjustments, the one option is to reduce the volume levels of the other tracks in the mixer.  Then, things will be in balance.

If the track is "normalized" during export, the lower levels of the arrangement will not be an issue.

Another option is to export the MIDI track as an audio object and import it back into the arrangement.  This will allow you to use the object volume handle (or settings) and/or the mixer to increase the volume to match.

OK...well, that is a problem.

There's little information available online about MM-17 XXL and the keybaord supplied.  They do say it is velocity sensitive, but that doesn't help in this situation.

I'm curious....is there a jack for a foot pedal on the back and was a foot pedal supplied?  Of course, that would normally be for sustain.  There would have to be a second jack for a volume pedal.  My guess is it doesn't have one of those.

Since MM-17 is not availble in the USA (yet), I can only guess at what your issues might be or how to resolve them.

You may have to take this issue to MAGIX tech support as it is an issue with the installation and proper functioning of the software.
