I registed before I bought the "Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus Download Version" (Trial version). After I paid for it and TRIED TO ACTIVATE the software, I got  Error Code: -14. I copy the code from my email, but DO NOT WORK!!! I TRIED to activate on-line via Service, but I need my Computer ID, which I have fund it, but it DID NOT WORK either. HOW can I activate the code???

I have the same exact issue. But I did not resister before I bought Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 plus. I had some sort of failure during registration. When I go on-line to register, I see it is already registered.
I then went to create an activation code on-line. I got my computerID from the fax registration form. When registering, it tlls me that I have an invalid computer ID. This may be why the activation failed to begin with???

I am anxious to see if anyone has an answer to this problem

Afther further testing. I believe trying to get an activation code through th eon-line registration site was failing with the computer ID because the program was already activated with that computer ID.
The problem is that when I go to Help in MEP15 Plus and goo to register onluine, or select online updates, the program does not thinkit is registered. So with the program set this way, I will not be able to receive online updates. That may be the same problem you are seeing.

I have the same issue exactly with the same software. Bought my license online on saturday. Unistalled a couple of times and tried different ways to do the installation a bit differently (changed installation paths, tried installation with another user in vista, disabled firewall from vista etc, used ccleaner to clean registry...)

I still have the same problem and the sw is not usable. Registration seems to go through to the website, but the software does not get properly activated. I also tried to put the ComputerID manually to the website, but it is not accepted.

If anyone figures out how to fix this, then please let us know :-)
Would be nice to be able to use the sw I bought.

I got a new activation code from magix support and my sw is now working. I guess there is no easy way to fix this by yourself, so just make a support ticket and wait for the activation code. Should not take too long. I got it the next day.

Same thing happened to me. When uninstalling the download version it leaves some .DLL files behind. I purchased a download copy and it would not recognize the registration code , then ordered a backup disc. The disc version would not allow registration after having installed the download version.

The only way you can do this is by formating your hard drive and re-installing the disc version.  I tried everything else, hacking the registry, ini files, etc.  You have to format the hard drive, clean install everything... then it will allow the disc version to load.

Has anyone figured this out yet? I bought Music Maker 15 Premium two days ago, and can't activate. I enter the SN, no dice. I get my computer ID from the fax option, and the online registration doesn't work. I've sent in an email to support, got an automated ticket number, but still waiting to hear.

Can somebody help me please?

I am having the same problem with version 15 Pro. I noticed first thread was in May and this is almost end of June. I did go to support three days ago and am still waiting on activation key. I spent the extra money to have the additional features on a disk rather than download for less money and still got burned. Seems emphase is on sales and marketing rather than support especially when you cannot get someone to complain to on a telephone! Like someone said above, sit and wait on a response from ticket is only solution.
