I recently upgraded from Movie Studio Platinum v16 to 2023 on Windows 10. In previous versions, during editing, I could use the space bar to pause at the current frame, updating my cursor location, or I could press the enter key to stop and return to my previous cursor location. This was really smooth, allowing me to preview through the track, finding where I wanted to split, etc. as I previewed, sometimes I wanted the cursor updated, sometimes I decide the extra 5 - 15 seconds are not needed. The new version has an option toggle that changes whether the space bar pauses at current frame or returns to previous. Okay, I chose the option to pause at current frame, first half fixed. However, pressing the enter key zooms the timeline view out to the full project length. Very not cool. I'm working on projects that can be over a few hours in length, I need the zoom to stay where I've set it!
Any tips that I missed in the documentation? How do I prevent the project zoom out? Thanks!
